Employee Spotlight: Olga and Hannah

We are thrilled to welcome back Olga Zaikina! She was an intern last summer here at PYAW and officially joined the team full-time this year. As a Financial Planning Associate, Olga provides support for our financial plan analysis and scenarios.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a double major in Finance and International Business, from Liberty University.

When Olga is not in the office, she enjoys reading a good book, listening to music, and exploring her surroundings with friends. Olga also really likes film photography, so in her free time, she loves taking pictures with her film camera. Exploring new cities is also something Olga enjoys. Olga is currently studying for her CFP exam, so you can usually find her in one of the Knoxville coffee shops reading a textbook. Fun fact, Olga was born and raised in Russia and moved to America to attend Liberty University in Virginia. Her parents and her younger brother still live in Russia, so in her free time, she likes to FaceTime them.

Hannah Bryant is our newest hire at PYA Waltman! As a Financial Planning Associate, Hannah provides support for our financial plan analysis and scenarios. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Liberty University.

When she is not in the office, Hannah currently spends most of her time studying for the CPA exam. To take a break, she loves drinking coffee and unashamedly consumes much more than the recommended amount per day. Finding new coffee shops and trying different restaurants has recently been a common pass-time for Hannah, as she just moved to Knoxville from Salem, Virginia. Having grown up in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, she has a deep appreciation for scenic mountain views and exploring the outdoors. Hannah also enjoys traveling. This past summer was her first time traveling outside of the country when she flew to Lusaka, Zambia with a team to serve the people living in the remote North-Western Province. They dug two deep-water wells and taught English lessons in the school system. Her passion for meeting new people and gleaning wisdom from their walks of life was fueled by her trip and continues to grow each day.

Favorite Food: Breakfast foods

Favorite Movie: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

Fun Fact: Hannah started collecting vinyl records in high school and has over 100 to date. She has an irrational fear that the music on the internet will one day randomly disappear, so having physical copies of all her favorite albums seems like the only logical precaution to take.
